Taking the exhibition and its ritual as an object in itself, ‘Quit This City: a post millennium thing’ curated by Eddie Negron and Marla Rosen, will explore the emergence of “the exhibition” as a critical medium
Functioning as an unofficial theme and more of an autodidactic and objective view of art work, this presentation focuses on works from private collections, the music and fashion industry that remain relatively unseen by the public. Through the implementation of iconography, the zerox and the internet as economic means an exhibition will be created in which momentum, emergence and rhythm are indeterminate and furthermore, exist beyond our presence.
