Exhibition and Fundraiser, March 18 – April 7, 2017

Art and Culture Center/Hollywood
1650 Harrison St, Hollywood, Florida 33020

Join us Friday for the opening reception for Exposed, an annual exhibition and fundraiser that brings together emerging artists, budding collectors, and artist-run spaces to support the Art and Culture Center and its presence in the community. Nearly 100 works donated by South Florida artists will be on view until April 7 when ticket buyers will participate in a random draw to select the exhibited works.

Admission to the Opening Reception is $10 and Free for members.

By purchasing tickets to closing night, you are actively engaging new audiences and opening a dialogue about the value of art in our everyday lives.

Exhibition: Show Us You VIP-ness By Cory Andrews Corp.
Subverting the idea of VIP as an exclusive environment and working under the moniker, “Cory Andrews Corp.,” Laura Marsh invites the artist couple to blur the boundary between private and public engagement in a site-specific installation. Jill Weisberg and Brian Gefen playfully challenge viewers to reflect on their own VIP-ness and explore a vibrant, humorous, and delightfully kitschy room. As artists who are actively engaged in the South Florida artist community, Weisberg incorporates vintage magazines and nail polish in her collages, while Gefen’s artwork incorporates hand drawn symbols, typography, colorful scenes, and enigmatic narrative.

Purchase your ticket to the draw at artandculturecenter.org
